Adultolescent

Sumedh Chatterjee '16

Being callous
Is not I
However hard I
Try

A rundown
Of the
Irrational
Frivolously
Controlling
My aural fixation

With chaste quickies
I cough
Into a board game
And Legos
Hit the roof
Childish diversion
Minimizing the
Maximum
With silliness
Everything is
Malleable
Like a
Jelly donut
Yo-Yo

Sucking on
A juice box
Sandbox raised
Preserving salt
In tunes and
Toons

Karma sat with
Me and
My antics
Made me run
Like a
Curled up
Newborn Sponge
Named Bob

How ironic
Taste of the
Television opiate
Perfect
Yet obscure

Regression
With a
Bit of hot sauce
